Workshop: The Power of Sound
April 4, 2026
Price: $150 as a one-day Workshop, $75 plus accommodations when added to a Yoga Retreat
It is said the universe began with a sound. Different frequencies of sound affect our body so profoundly that we can dance with joy with one sound (music or words) or be shaken to our core with sounds that anger, hurt or scare us.
Through the use of singing bowls, chanting, and intentional silence, participants will experience how vibration, tone, and stillness can calm the body, focus the mind, and open pathways to greater awareness and balance. This experiential day invites both curiosity and presence, offering practical insights into the transformative power of sound.
Join Prakashi and AnandaMa to explore sound and how to use it to turn within, strengthening your connection with your highest Self.
Workshop includes:
- chanting and mantra
- singing bowls
- silent meditation
- and more!

About the Instructors
AnandaMa Sims
Yoga & Meditation Teacher, ERYT 500
AnandaMa Sims has been practicing and studying subtle energies from a young age, her mother being her first teacher. During part of her journey, she fell in love with the physical part of yoga. While completing her initial ShambhavAnanda Yoga teacher training she realized there was a need for people who were curious about yoga but hesitant to step into a class because they didn’t feel they were bendy enough. AnandaMa makes yoga accessible for every body. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. She is an RYT-500, ERYT-200, and has completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 ShambhavAnanda Yoga meditation teacher trainings. AnandaMa teaches yoga and meditation, guiding others to live a more mindful and skillful life in Evergreen, Colorado at Studio B Evergreen.
