Workshop: Resonant Renewal – Using Sound to Connect with Self

November 21

Price: $150 as a one-day Workshop, $75 plus accommodations when added to a Yoga Retreat

Step away from the noise and spend a day reconnecting through sound. Sound has a unique way of guiding attention inward because it is both something we perceive and something we create. When we intentionally engage with sound—whether through listening or vocalizing—it can quiet mental chatter and draw awareness beneath the surface of habitual thinking. This shift allows us to sense subtler layers of experience, where our “true nature” is often described as steady, spacious, and aware. Practices like mantra use simple, repeated sounds to gently occupy the mind, giving it a focal point that reduces distraction. Over time, the repetition becomes less about the words themselves and more about the resonance they create भीतर—inviting a felt sense of stillness and presence.

Breath deepens this process by anchoring sound in the body. When mantra is synchronized with slow, conscious breathing, it creates a rhythmic loop that calms the nervous system and refines attention. The vibration of the voice, carried on the breath, can be felt internally, helping bridge the gap between mind and body. As awareness settles into this rhythm, it becomes easier to notice the spaces between sounds and breaths—moments of quiet that reveal deeper states of consciousness. In these spaces, many people experience a sense of clarity, connection, or simply being, without the need to analyze or strive.

Resonant Renewal Workshop includes:
– sound bath with crystal singing bowls
– mantra repetition
– slow-flow yoga class with breath awareness
– forest bathing (weather permitting)
– and more!

AnandaMa Sims

Yoga & Meditation Teacher, ERYT 500

AnandaMa Sims has been practicing and studying subtle energies from a young age, her mother being her first teacher. During part of her journey, she fell in love with the physical part of yoga. While completing her initial ShambhavAnanda Yoga teacher training she realized there was a need for people who were curious about yoga but hesitant to step into a class because they didn’t feel they were bendy enough. AnandaMa makes yoga accessible for every body. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga. She is an RYT-500, ERYT-200, and has completed Levels 1, 2, and 3 ShambhavAnanda Yoga  meditation teacher trainings. AnandaMa teaches yoga and meditation, guiding others to live a more mindful and skillful life in Evergreen, Colorado at Studio B Evergreen.
