The weekend includes:

Meditation – Meditation classes offer a variety of approaches to meditation in the ShambhavAnanda Yoga tradition, including guided silent meditation techniques, kirtan and arati, mantra repetition, and more. By learning different methods to quiet the mind and connect inside, you become empowered to use the tools necessary to stay open and grounded within the ever-evolving arena of your life.

Yoga – ShambhavAnanda Yoga Asana begins with a strong foundation in body awareness and alignment, then moves deeper, allowing you to explore your own personal experience of yoga through inner focus and surrender. Creative hatha and vinyasa approaches make this practice available for beginner through advanced level practitioners.

Satsang – Satsang is a traditional practice of being in the company of good, or true, people. Daily satsang with one of our senior meditation teachers is a time to ask questions about your own spiritual practice and experiences, or learn more about Shoshoni and the Shambhava Yoga™ tradition.

 

 

This retreat will be broadcast live using Zoom. You will receive a confirmation email upon registration, and additional emails each morning of the retreat with the current active link to access the broadcast.

Friday and Saturday

8:15-8:45am Introduction to Mantra

9:00-9:45am Mantra practice: Ganesh Mantra

10:00-11:00am Hatha Yoga 

11:15-11:45am Pranayama and Meditation Practice

1:30-3:00pm (includes breaks) Meditation Practice: Heart Meditation, Cultivating Gratitude, Walking Meditation, Tension Release 

6:00-6:45pm Mantra practice: Medicine Buddha Mantra

6:45-7:15pm Satsung: questions and answers

 

Sunday

8:15-9:00am Mantra practice: Ganesh Mantra

9:15-10:15am Bringing meditation tools into your life

10:30-11:30am Hatha Yoga

11:30-12:00pm Pranayama and Meditation Practice, Closing remarks

The scenery is gorgeous with hiking all around, staff is excellent, the food is delicious, the temples are beautiful, the yoga is great and relaxing, and the cabins are clean and nice. I always feel so peaceful there and the meditation is wonderful. It’s a very spiritual place and wonderful for decompressing from city life and for getting back to your true self.
