About the Instructor

Prakashi Mariska

ERYT500; Yoga, Pilates, and Silver Sneakers Instructor

With over 20 years of yoga experience, Prakashi has studied extensively to offer a scientific and spiritual practice. Her classes are authentic, original, and often challenging, taking you from the outer practices of poses and exercises to the deeper dimensions of the yoga experience. She holds teaching certificates from the ShambhavAnanda School of Yoga, Cambio School of Yoga, The Kirtan Leader Institute, YMCA of the USA, Silver Sneakers, and Balanced Bodies Pilates. Prakashi is a nationally certified Personal Trainer with yoga training and experience serving children, pre-and post-natal students, elderly students, and chair yoga practitioners. She firmly believes that yoga is for everyone, at every stage of life, and that inclusiveness, transparency, and ongoing study are vital to the authentic practice of yoga.

The scenery is gorgeous with hiking all around, staff is excellent, the food is delicious, the temples are beautiful, the yoga is great and relaxing, and the cabins are clean and nice. I always feel so peaceful there and the meditation is wonderful. It’s a very spiritual place and wonderful for decompressing from city life and for getting back to your true self.
