2023 Programs

Work Study
Join the Shoshoni staff and dive deeply into the yogic lifestyle and your own spiritual practice alongside dedicated yogic practitioners. Ground yourself in the discipline and structure of an ashram setting. Learn meditation tools from the ShambhavAnanda Yoga tradition and how to bring them into your everyday life. Work in support of community, using seva – selfless service – as a vehicle for growth. Three month minimum requirement.
Women’s Retreat
April 13-16
Join us for a nourishing weekend of yoga, meditation, and special classes to honor the divine feminine within. This women’s weekend includes Goddess-focused meditation and chanting, restorative yoga and guided deep relaxation, journaling, a sharing circle, and more.
Malas and Mantra workshop
May 19-21
A mala is a string of prayer beads commonly used in the practice of japa, or mantra repetition. In this workshop, you’ll learn about mantra and how to work with it, as well as make your own mala to practice with and take home with you.
Meditation Immersion
May 26-29
A four-day immersion experience. Learn the foundations of meditation and find new depth in your own practice with the support of a fun, contemplative community. Our goal is to share the profound and practical teachings of our tradition in a way that is meaningful for your life.
Sacred Art Retreat

Learn to draw a Buddha or Tara on canvas using traditional eastern thankgha-painting techniques. Accomplished artists Faith Stone and Karma Phuntsok will guide you through the process, teaching these techniques in an easily digestible way and helping to bring your Buddha to life. Take your Buddha home with you at the end of the weekend. Beginner through experienced artists welcome.

Shoshoni offers a rich meditation practice, wonderful yoga classes, and great vegetarian cuisine. The views are breathtaking and it is incredibly interesting getting to know the staff. Highly recommended!
