Shoshoni’s kitchen offers wholesome, organic vegetarian meals prepared from scratch each day, often with vegetables harvested directly from Shoshoni’s gardens.

Each meal is infused with love and mantra by the devoted yogis who prepare it.

Meals are served cafeteria-style in our community dining space; join in conversation with staff and other guests at the family-style picnic tables as you enjoy your food, or choose to observe silence in our Solitude Section.

Our kitchen happily accommodates gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan diets, as well as certain food allergies. The office must be notified of dietary preferences and allergies at time of reservation. We are a dedicated meat-free facility but not a certified allergen-free facility, and do cook with gluten, dairy, soy, nuts, and other potential allergens. Breakfast:

Hot cereals (kitcheri, oatmeal, rice cereal, etc.)

Protein (scrambled or hard-boiled eggs, tofu, beans)

Bread (biscuits, tortillas, scones, muffins, etc.)

A La Carte options, including yogurt, jams and spreads, and freshly sliced fruits

Plantain Tacos with pinto beans, homemade slaw, guacamole , and pico de gallo

Festive Basmati Rice

Garden-fresh Salad with cilantro-lime dressing

Pita Bread with Garlic Hummus and Falafel

Tabouli with garden tomatoes and cucumbers

Garden-fresh Greek Salad

 

Dinner:

Garden Kale and White Bean Soup

The food here is amazing! I honestly felt I could convert to vegetarianism after tasting such deliciously prepared dishes.
